DNA GENETICS LINE 241 F1
Our F1 females feature a proven ability to wean 32+ uniform, high‑quality pigs per sow per year. Using purebred Yorkshire and Landrace to produce this F1 hybrid provides the benefit of 100 percent heterosis. Selection for terminal traits, including fast growth, feed efficiency and carcass composition, produces pigs that require less pounds of feed per carcass weight gain. Growing pigs remain uniform from birth to market, which provides an efficient marketing window to maximize facility use and increases the number of high‑value pigs.

Our grandparent lines are made up of purebred Yorkshire and Landrace females. The foundation of our maternal-line selection program is Live Pigs at 5 Days™ (LP5). This composite trait more accurately predicts the number of pigs weaned compared to total born.
